A Day In The Life Of An English Teacher:
Kelly: "Okay, class. Repeat after me: ship-sheep."
Class: "Ship-ship."
K: "Err...bed-bug."
C: "Bess-buss."
K: "Okay...put-pitt."
C: "Puss-piss."
K: "Alright, for kicks: Sally sells seashells by the seashore."
C: "Shaley shells she-shales by da she-shaw."
K: "VERY GOOD!"

Judging by the sounds of it you and your students are clearly making progress.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work.
Really enjoy reading about your interaction with the students, Kelly. Sounds as if you are making progress with them and having fun with it too. Your idea to use a tongue twister may actually turn out to be a very effective teaching tool.
